To analyse the state of your wellbeing, a full medical consultation is mandatory to reatments, particularly for the first time client. It will take about 30-60 minutes Q&A about your health related history and lifestyles, tongue examination and pulse detection. The doctor will also measure your blood pressure if need be.
Acupuncture 30min £52
Acupuncture is a system of healing which has been practised in China for thousands of years. Its focus is on improving the overall wellbeing of the patient, rather than treating specific symptoms. According to traditional Chinese philosophy,our health depends on the body's motivating energy 'Qi' moving in a smooth and balanced way through a series of meridians (channels) beneath the skin. By inserting fine needles into the channels of energy, it can stimulate the body's own healing response and help restore its natural balance. Each acupuncture treatment session includes time for intake history, needle placement and needle dwell time.
Chinese Herbal Medicine £52/£62 week
Herbal medicine is made up of leaves, stems, bark, roots or seeds of natural plants.Each herb has its own specific properties, they are cleverly combined together to treat diseases and restore the body's normal physiological functions to keep a holistic balance. Herbal medicine must be prescribed by a fully qualified TCM doctor after a confidential consultation.
Traditional Chinese Massage (Acupressure) 30min/60min £38/£65
Through the application of deep tissue massage and manipulation techniques, this treatment will establish a more harmonious flow of Qi through the stimulation of meridians, allowing the body to naturally heal itself. Methods include the use of hand techniques to massage the soft tissue (muscles and tendons) of the body, acupressure techniques to directly enhance the flow of Qi and manipulation techniques to realign the muscles and ligament relationships.
Facial Acupuncture 40min £55
Using very fine needles which are ever thinner than normal acupuncture needles work on the facial youth meridians to stimulate local circulation of blood. This treatment can smooth out wrinkles, firm the skin, alleviate black eyes and puffy eyes.
Ear Candling 30min £45
To cleanse the ear canal from overbuild wax, this traditional method of chimney effect is the alternative way to maintain your ear's hygiene.
Moxibustion 30min £30
An ancient traditional Chinese technique to help strengthen the blood and stimulate the flow of 'Qi' to maintain general health. Moxibustion involves the burning of a small, spongy Chinese herb, known as moxa, to facilitate healing. The practitioner will light one end of a moxa stick and hold it close to an acupressure point for several minutes to bring about a pleasant heat sensation penetrating deep into the skin.
Huo Guan (Cupping) 10 min £20
Cupping refers to an ancient Chinese practice in which a heated cup is applied to the skin and the pressure in the cup has therapeutic effect on the skin and superficial muscle layer. Cupping is applied to certain acupressure points, as well as to regions of the body that are affected by pain.
Gua Sha 10min £20
Gua Sha is a healing technique. The practitioner uses a round-edged instrument along the channels scraping on the back, neck, shoulders, buttocks, and limbs etc. The treatment can promote Qi and Blood circulation and normalize metabolic processes.
